Neeraj Sanghi has an extensive experience of over 30 years in business development, finance, project and operation management. Since joining HC1 in 2016, Neeraj has successfully streamlined relationships with stakeholders (concessioning authorities, unions etc.) as well as implemented technology-oriented improvements in ETC, energy efficiency etc. on the road stretches. He is also persevering to create a forum for joint advocacy by fund based road owners and operators.
Prior to joining HC1, Neeraj has worked with the Essar Group in two stints. During his first stint, he developed the LNG terminal project at Hazira, Gujarat. During the second run, as CEO of Essar Concessions, he initiated Essar’s foray into infrastructure business (roads, CGD, pipelines, water etc.). In the interim, Neeraj was with Total India heading projects viz., LNG terminal at Mumbai, LPG Cavern Project at Visakhapatnam (as CEO) and Hazira Port sub-concession project.
Neeraj’s traits of being a remarkable leader and an excellent team player are backed by a strong academic foundation. He is an Electrical Engineer (Delhi College of Engineering), MBA (Faculty of Management Studies) and MA Sustainable Development (Staffordshire University).
Narayanan S. has a diverse experience of 31 years in construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure projects, mainly in the transportation sector. At HC1, Narayanan has relentlessly worked to ensure excellent road and system conditions, along with minimum leakages.
Narayanan has handled operations of 30 highway projects across organisations. Earlier in his career, Narayanan has worked in construction of highways with NCC and Alaya Constructions. In 1998, he moved to Singapore where he handled Underground Metro Projects for Land Transport Authority, involving construction of large scale tunnels, MRT stations, etc. In 2006, he returned to India to join GMR Highways, where he was involved in operation and maintenance of highway projects. Before joining HC1, Narayanan worked with HCC as head of operations.
Narayanan, a team builder with a focussed approach towards delivery, is a Civil Engineer (GCT, Coimbatore). He has completed his Masters in Construction Management from NTU, Singapore.
Narayanan Doraiswamy has an experience of 27 years in the areas of finance, accounting, taxation and compliance matters. At HC1, his stint has seen streamlining the various business processes through implementation of SOPs, strengthening funds management function, increased focus on compliance, effective shareholder distributions, as well as implementation of technology oriented improvements like compliance tool, digitised board meeting etc.
Narayanan has earlier worked with the IL&FS Group for about 15 years in two spells. He first worked with the NBFC arm of IL&FS (ORIX Auto and Infrastructure Limited). In the second term, he worked with IL&FS Transport Networks Limited (ITNL), the roads arm of IL&FS. In between, Narayanan has worked with GE Money and AIG Home Finance as Controller of their Chennai operations.
Narayanan is a Chartered Accountant, and an alumni of Madras Christian College, Chennai where he pursued a degree in Chemistry. He is also a recipient of Platinum Award in GE (2006).
